Master Craftsman: Scottish Rite History & Ritual


Program Description(s):

      The Scottish Rite Master Craftsman: History & Ritual Program is an exciting by-mail correspondence course designed and administered by staff at the House of the Temple in Washington, DC under the guidance and leadership of the Supreme Council, 33 of the A.&A. Scottish Rite Southern Jurisdiction. 

  • Consisting of 6 lessons, it utilizes The Scottish Rite Ritual Monitor and Guide (3rd Edition) by Arturo de Hoyos.
  • The course fee is $40.00 and includes all 6 lessons and a personalized certificate and lapel pin upon completion of the program.
  • Your first shipment will include a welcome letter, the first quiz and return envelope, and a handsome folder in which to keep your work organized.
  • Also included is Arturo de Hoyos` incomparable resource: The Scottish Rite Ritual Monitor and Guide.
  • A Bridge to Light 2010 is NOT included with this program.

Program Schedule:
      The Orange County Knights of St. Andrew hosts round table discussions related to the 32 degrees of Scottish Rite Masonry. You may elect to participate with the “class” at the monthly pace, or study and submit individually at your own pace. This program is for 32° Degree Scottish Rite Masons only.
– We highly recommend group participation as it is guaranteed to enhance your learning experience, strengthen fraternal bonds, and promote opportunities to visit other lodges.
Program Meetings: 
     We host our “Roundtable” meetings (for registration, introduction, Q&As and test reviews/discussions) at the Southern California Demolay Center in Anaheim 303 W. Lincoln, Anaheim, CA (conference room). Times and locations for each month may vary. It is most likely that these meetings will be held on a Saturday. Times TBA in the SR newsletter and stated meeting announcements. For those of you who are unable to make these meetings, we do offer private instruction via several proxies (one-on-one at your home or DeMolay Center, or Online via Skype/Facetime).
